How does the connector works?
The connector makes a synchronisation between your Shopify store and your GoodBarber app. It syncs the catalog (collections and products). Shopify is the master and GoodBarber is the slave. It means that each product your add into your Shopify store will automatically appear in your GoodBarber app, but the opposite is false.
The connector also synchronises the stock between your Shopify store and your GoodBarber app. When a product is purchased on your Shopify website, the stock of this product is updated on the app also. When a product is purchased in the GoodBarber app, the stock of this product is updated on the website also.
When their is an order made in the app, the connector creates this order in the Shopify backend too.
Do you make the design of my app?
GoodBarber is a Do-It-Yourself product. Once our team sets up the Shopify connector, you will be able to design the app by yourself, from your GoodBarber backend.
If you prefer we do it for you, you can hire us for that job. Contact us and we will give you a quote.
Do you publish my app on the App Store and Google Play?
In your GoodBarber backoffice, everything is designed to help you publish your app on the App Store and the Google Play Store buy yourself.
If you prefer we do it for you, you can purchase the "GoodBarber takes care" option. It costs 50€.
I use a Shopify plugin, will it work in the app?
The Shopify connector works with data related to collections and products. If you have installed some extension to your Shopify website to customize its standard behavior, they won't work in the app. Nevertheless, based on the extension you have installed, we can propose you a custom development to make it work with the app. Contact our team to know what can be done.
Are there any additional costs?
When publishing your app on the App Store and on the Google Play Store, you will have to be registered as a developper on those platforms.
To be able to publish on the App Store, you'll have to pay Apple $99/year.
To be able to publish on the Google Play Store, you'll have to pay Google 25€ (one time fee).

Are my customers synchronized also?
Customers are managed in two separate databases. Shopify has its own and GoodBarber has its own. It means that your existing Shopify customers will have to create an account in the app the first time they make an order.
If they register with the same email as the one used on your Shopify website, each time they make an order on the app, our connector will be able to add this order in the Shopify backend. If they use a different email, a new customer will be created in the Shopify backend.
What payment gateways are available in the app?
In the app, you can use the following payment gateways:
